M&S lincoln

marks & spencer

THE PROJECT:

Marks & Spencer contracted APA Height Access to design and install a façade retention and access scaffold for the refurbishment of their historic building in Lincoln’s busy town centre.

A large building is being built with scaffolding around it.

THE solution:

APA Height Access designed and installed scaffold structures to provide safe and convenient access for construction personnel and equipment.

Specialist hoardings were installed at pavement level and wrapped in M&S branding to ensure minimum disruption to the public.

The scaffold was then wrapped with a custom scaffold sheeting to showcase Marks & Spencer’s Christmas campaign.

A red car is painted on the side of a building.
A large black tarp is covering a building with a painting of houses on it.

THE outcome:

The access and retention scaffold project for Marks & Spencer successfully achieved the following outcomes:

  • Safe and efficient access provided to construction personnel and equipment.
  • Effective retention of the façade, whilst enabling works were undertaken.
  • Customised wrapping enhanced the structure whilst minimising disruption to the store.
  • Marks & Spencer expressed high levels of satisfaction with our performance, commending our professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.

We ensured to uphold clear communication channels that were maintained throughout the project, fostering a collaborative working relationship.

This has since been re-enforced with a new revision of marketing wrap that is to be installed Q2-2024.
